Thank you Gavin, you are correct about ePub, and we are grateful for your post. Our new website provides the first distribution of eBooks from an independent publisher in our field, completely independent of Amazon Kindle and B&N Nook. We are very excited to be able to offer the eBook formats on-line to the world! The eBook initiative is the brain-child of our founder and was in development for many months, launched less than 3 weeks ago. ePub can be used by mobile devices, both Apple and Android and a variety of other tablets on the market. We hope to expand the branding usage of our eBooks in the future. Most of our visitors are not familiar with the technical structure of files, and just how adaptable they are to so many of their eBook compatible devices, and this is why we have provided the digital file specifications on every single product page. Thanks for your feedback and we will work hard to expand the branding/adaptability in the future!

ePub is a free and open e-book standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub. To refer to it as simply a Nook standard is misleading. It's arguably the most widely compatible ebook format of all and the only one of the three which is not "owned" by a single company.
